Privacy Policy

This policy covers Keen Decorative Concrete LLC (“Keen,” “we,” “us”), a decorative concrete contractor in Corpus Christi, TX, and the website at https://keendecorativeconcrete.com. You can reach us at 361-420-7726 or jeff@keendecorativeconcrete.com.

We keep this narrow on purpose. We collect:

• What you give us on a form or over the phone — your name, phone number, email address, the job address, what you want built, and anything else you choose to type in the message box.
• Job records — quotes, contracts, photos of the work area and the finished work, invoices, payment records and our notes about the job.
• Employment applications — if you apply through our careers page, whatever you put on the application and in your resume.
• Call recordings — calls to and from our business lines may be recorded for quality and training.
• Chats with Sparky, our virtual assistant — Sparky is a computer program (AI), not a person. What you type to Sparky, and the audio of any voice chat with Sparky, is recorded and saved so we can follow up on your request and improve our answers. Please don't share anything with Sparky you wouldn't want saved.
• Basic website data — pages viewed, approximate location from your IP address, browser type, and how you arrived. Analytics and advertising cookies only run after you accept them; see “Cookies” below.

We do not ask for and do not want your Social Security number, your driver's license number, or your bank or card numbers through this website. Payments are handled by our payment processor, not by us, and card numbers never touch our servers.

• Getting back to you, quoting the work, scheduling it and building it.
• Invoicing, taking payment and keeping the records a business has to keep.
• Texting or emailing you about your estimate and your job, if you asked us to.
• Warranty and service follow-ups.
• Hiring, if you applied for a job.
• Keeping the site working, secure and free of spam submissions.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We don't rent, trade or hand our customer list to anyone.

Only the people who have to, and only the part they need:

• Our scheduling and CRM software, which is where your request becomes a job on the calendar.
• Our payment processor, if you pay by card or bank transfer.
• Our texting provider, if you've opted in to text messages.
• Kinetic Pools, our sister company, when your project is a pool and deck together and both companies are working on it.
• The companies that run Sparky — Anthropic (the AI that writes Sparky's replies), ElevenLabs (Sparky's voice chat) and Supabase (where chats are stored). They process your chat for us under contract.
• Our website, email and analytics providers, who process data on our behalf under contract.
• Anyone the law requires — a court order, a subpoena, or a government request we're legally obliged to answer.

The cookies that make the site work — the ones that remember your consent choice and keep forms from breaking — are always on, because without them the site doesn't function.

Analytics and advertising cookies, including Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) pixel, are blocked until you accept them in the cookie banner. If you decline, they never load. You can change your mind at any time from the cookie settings link in the footer, and you can clear cookies in your browser whenever you like.

We do not knowingly use tracking pixels on job-application pages.

If you tick the consent box on a form or text us first, you may get text messages from us about your estimate and your job. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Full details are in our SMS terms.

We do not share your phone number or SMS consent with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.

Under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, Texas residents may ask us to:

• Confirm whether we're processing your personal data, and get a copy of it;
• Correct anything we have wrong;
• Delete what we hold about you;
• Get your data in a portable form, where that applies;
• Opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or profiling with legal effects — though as stated above, we don't sell your data or use it for that kind of profiling.

To make a request, call 361-420-7726 or email jeff@keendecorativeconcrete.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We'll respond within 45 days, and we'll tell you if we need a 45-day extension. There's no charge for the first request in a 12-month period.

We may need to verify who you are before we act — usually by matching what you tell us against the contact details already on your job record. If we deny a request you may appeal by replying to our decision; if we deny the appeal, you can complain to the Texas Attorney General.

If you live somewhere with different privacy rights, contact us anyway — we'll do our best to honor the same requests.

Job records, contracts and invoices are kept as long as we need them for warranty, tax and legal reasons. Quote requests that never became jobs are kept for a reasonable period in case you come back to us, then cleared out. Job applications are kept for our hiring records. Ask us to delete your data and we will, except where the law requires us to keep a record.

The site runs over HTTPS, our systems require passwords and account-level access, and only the people who need your information can see it. No system is perfect and we won't pretend otherwise — but we don't store card numbers, and we don't keep data we don't need.

This site is for homeowners and job applicants. It isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you think a child gave us information, tell us and we'll delete it.

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be called out on the site.
